Another point worth mentioning is that secured loans are easier to obtain than unsecured loans because creditors will always prefer the option with security.

Make sure to know the state of your finances before contacting your lender. Determine how much income you're bringing in each month, how much you're paying in bills and where you can cut costs. Just a tip!

Although a loan does not start out as income to the borrower, it becomes income to the borrower if the borrower is discharged of indebtedness.

I believe that the financial crises around the world needs more than the short term fixes that all governments are currently pursuing. Just wait until march time 2009, and see the employment rates drop like a bad habit, the only way out of this mess now is if someone can reinvent the wheel, it will take much more than just simply printing off money to get us all out of this current situation..see you all on the streets.

Last year my husband refinanced our home to pay off my medical bills, there were no other options. This year under the crunch we cannot make the 2000.00 housepayment, and my husband applied for a loan correction..we had to send them a housepayment, to get the action started. now we are soon to be 3 housepayments in the hole. My husband works construction and his hours are short we just can't do this. I am praying that someone out there can help me with a loan I need 8,000.00 to cover late fees etc. I can't get a loan anywhere. I need one badly, and I can begin paying it back in the month of march 2009. I do not want a hand out. i appreciate any help.

With the ongoing sub prime crisis, the tenant loan lenders have been hit very badly. The lending giants like City Financials have already closed their business of lending. So primarily the tenants are in a big soup at this point of time where the option for them to take out a loan is very limited. Halifax and RBS just lend to the clean credit customers which are hardly many. So the sub prime customers just have to try their luck with Welcome, Everyday and some small payday lenders who will just lend upto 2000 pounds maximum. So the situation for tenants to get a loan has become very difficult.
