I think that the rates companies charge on the base personal loans and credit cards are absurd!
Whilst i was a student, barclays were charging me nearly 23% APR on my credit card as well as charges of almost £30 when i went overdrawn. But I was a student!, surely this should be factored in when giving a student a credit card. But i guess its all about making money. You post about bad credit personal loans made me think about those in less fortunate positions and i think it is these that the financial institutions exploit. They charge high APR's and then try to trick people into taking about payment protection (which i might add is the biggest fraud of our time). Keep up the blog, love reading it. Regards, Si
